• The advanced safety gate combines all the advantages of screw-fit and pressure-fit gates. Unlike pressure-fit safety gates, this gate has no frame. When firmly screwed to the wall, it therefore makes an ideal stair gate. The omission of the lower beam enables a barrier-free passage. This eliminates any additional trip hazards and makes the safety gate particularly suitable for protection at the top of stairs. It also maintains the full width of the passageway, as there is no need for side rails for tension, which would narrow the passageway.
• When used as a pressure-fit gate to secure doors or passageways, the advanced safety gate sets itself apart with its quick and damage-free installation. The safety gate is simply tensioned in door frame with no need for tools – easy as that. This means it can be used without damaging the door frame with unsightly drill holes – ideal for rental properties. When using as a pressure-fit gate, please remember that the entire gate comes out of the frame when it is opened.
• To make sure that when the gate is locked and that little explorers can’t manage to unlock it, the safety gate has been equipped with the active-lock system – a triple movement mechanism. In other words, three actions need to be performed simultaneously to unlock the safety gate. However, it can be quickly opened with one hand by adults. Simply press the button, release the lever and lift the gate to open the stair safety gate.
